Sacramento

Went to the Crocker Art Museum on the 4th. Unfortunately I lost all the photos
from the new addition but the home was my favorite part.

Every home should have these doorknobs.  The dark round flower on the lower
plate holds a piece which swings to right and left to reveal the keyhole.

We stopped for a visit a few blocks way to Old Sacramento.

Lots of fun shops and good food.

Hi there!!
I used to be a docent at the Crocker, and both buildings are wonderful, but I truthfully enjoy the "historic" building so much more!! Just the door hinges are beautiful!!!!!
Glad you got a chance to see it. :)

What a great experience that must have been. I had many shots of those hinges unfortunately lost. I'll just have to go back!
